Luz: The Light of the Heart

Raised since she was a baby in a kaingang community, Luz is a non-indigenous orphan girl, displaying intelligence and wisdom based on the community's values. She was hidden there by Baltazar, the right-hand man who worked for her grandfather, Carlos - who blamed the girl's birth for the events which led to his son's death. Kidnapped at the maternity ward, Luz had her life spared by Baltazar, who kept secrecy about her survival and followed her growth. Now, 9 years later, Carlos discovers the truth and chases Luz, who manages to escape and hide in a boarding school for rich children. At school, with new friends, she can also unveil the mystery of her origin - the mother she didn't know was alive.
