Nice Girls

The fearless Léo (Alice Taglioni) fancies herself the ‘best cop on the French Riviera’. When she hears about the murder, in Hamburg, of her colleague Ludo – who was like a brother to her – she is determined to find out the truth. But her boss (Noémie Lvovsky) has other ideas, and insists on handing the case over to a German super-cop. There’s no way Léo will let a “loser in a suit” conduct the investigation, especially when she hears the cop in question is the attractive and overtrained Mélanie (Stéfi Celma). Forced into an uneasy partnership, these two fiery but conflicting characters have no idea that the city of Nice is facing an imminent threat – and that they are more closely connected than they thought.
