Tear Along the Dotted Line

Tear along the dotted lines is a story set in Zerocalcare’s famous narrative universe, with his beloved characters Zero, Armadillo, Sarah, Secco and Giulia. Zerocalcare is a young graphic novelist with a strong social conscience, embodied by a talking armadillo, who only he can see. When his friend Giulia gets out of Zero’s radar for a bit too long than usual Zero tries to solve the mystery and find out where she is gone.

Life is like a shape that you should tear along the dotted lines, but sometimes you just get it wrong and from that moment it becomes increasingly difficult to get it into a reasonable form. Sometimes you tear pieces that you should have kept, but somehow, if you hold your loved ones close and you don't betray them, life finds its own sense even if it doesn't have the shape you had dreamed of. And it is precisely the pieces that are missing, that you lose along the way, that make you realize you shouldn't stop trying to accept yourself for who you are.

Zerocalcare's deep and humorous take on life is a guaranteed ingredient for a very contemporary sweet and comedic show
