“Savage Rhythm” is a drama starring Colombian stars Greeicy Rendón and Paulina Dávila, two dancers from opposite worlds who risk it all to make their dreams come true, even if it means invading each other’s lives, as they compete to dance as if their lives depended on it.
Under the direction of internationally renowned Simón Brand and under the musical supervision of Santiago Uribe, “Savage Rhythm” tells the story of Antonia and Karina, two dancers from diametrically opposite worlds who share their passion for dance. Antonia is a perfectionist who dances for the prestigious "El Royal" Academy, but now faces the need to reinvent her style in order to star in the play of her dreams. Meanwhile, Karina, who learned to dance in the streets of Bogotá, manages to survive while she dreams of showing off her talent to the world, together with her dance group “Pura Kaye.” When Antonia meets Karina, she is smitten by her coolness and enraptured by her urban style. Knowing that Karina has everything she lacks, Antonia immerses herself in Karina's dramatic life, while dragging her into the glamor of her own. They fight tooth and nail to achieve their dreams, willing to give it all they’ve got on stage.
