SanPa: Sins of the Savior

SanPa: Sins of the Savior tells the story of the rehab commune founded by the charismatic Vincenzo Muccioli, from its beginnings in 1978, to its rise as the biggest rehab centre in Europe. Interviews are intercut with archives to recount the salient moments in the history of the commune and its founder. He was loved for the values he represented, such as the fight against marginalization, the hope of recovery and the reinstatement into society with a better life for thousands of youngsters that went through the commune of San Patrignano. However, Vincenzo Muccioli was also challenged for the methods used to keep addicts away from drugs, such as the use of chains.
